Position Summary

The Non-Assembly Production Operator is responsible for functional testing, device programming, packaging, and related production support activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and a commitment to meeting daily production and quality expectations.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of electronic document processing machines.

• Follow system prompts and established procedures throughout the testing process.

• Document any adverse findings and promptly escalate issues to the supervisor.

• Modify device programming as directed using company software tools.

• Verify the correct configuration using device labels and the pallet worksheet/traveler.

• Confirm the physical configuration matches the finished configuration displayed in the system.

• Accurately pack additional materials into device boxes according to customer requirements.

• Use the pallet worksheet/traveler to identify all materials that must be included in each box.

• Ask questions and escalate any uncertainty before proceeding.

• Maintain an error rate of less than 1 per pallet (>1%).

• Meet established daily production targets.

• Provide feedback on production processes, constraints, and pain points to help identify opportunities for improvement.

• Perform other production-related tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.

• Identify and promptly flag discrepancies in material preparation or presentation.
 

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong sense of urgency and ability to remain focused and on task.

• Previous production experience, including working to schedules and deadlines and identifying quality issues.

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently and accurately.

• Proficient with computers and common software applications; comfortable navigating multiple programs and screens.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in testing, programming, packaging, and reporting.

• Dependable and consistent in attendance and work performance.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production requirements.

• Willingness to work daily and weekend overtime as directed by management. Management will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice or plan overtime in advance to support shipping requirements.
 

Monday – Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm 
Pay Rate: $16/hr.
