We are seeking a dependable and experienced Line Lead to support daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Line Lead will help keep production running efficiently, ensure employees are following established processes and safety procedures, and assist with meeting daily production and quality goals.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, and is comfortable working alongside a production team while helping coordinate workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support employees on the assigned production line to ensure daily production goals are met.
  • Monitor production activities and help maintain an efficient workflow throughout the shift.
  • Assign and coordinate tasks among production employees as directed by management.
  • Train and assist new employees on proper production procedures, equipment, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and direction when needed.
  • Ensure products are manufactured according to established quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify production, quality, equipment, or workflow issues and communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor or management.
  • Assist with troubleshooting basic production issues and minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor materials and supplies needed to keep the production line operating efficiently.
  • Complete or assist with required production paperwork, records, checklists, and reports.
  • Ensure employees follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Help coordinate breaks and maintain appropriate staffing on the production line.
  • Assist with meeting productivity, quality, attendance, and safety expectations.
  • Work closely with supervisors and other departments to communicate production needs and issues.
  • Perform hands-on production duties as needed to support the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or factory experience required.
  • Previous leadership, lead, trainer, or senior production experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate a production team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and production procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to identify problems and communicate issues promptly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
  • Basic computer skills may be required depending on production and reporting systems.

Leadership Expectations
The Line Lead is expected to lead by example and maintain a positive, professional approach on the production floor. The successful candidate will be comfortable providing direction to coworkers, reinforcing company expectations, and communicating production concerns to supervisors without unnecessarily escalating routine issues.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced manufacturing/factory environment
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • May involve repetitive production tasks
  • Exposure to typical manufacturing noise, machinery, and production equipment
  • Safety shoes, PPE, or other protective equipment may be required
  • Schedule and overtime requirements will vary based on production needs

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who has strong manufacturing experience and natural leadership ability. You don't necessarily need a formal management title—we're looking for someone who can take ownership of a production line, keep employees on task, recognize problems, and help the team consistently meet production and quality expectations.

Schedule: Opportunities on 1st, 2nd, & 3rd available 
1st: 7:00AM-3:30PM
2nd: 3:00PM-11:30PM
3rd: 11:00PM-7:30AM
