Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused High Reach Forklift Operator to join our clients warehouse team. This role is responsible for operating high reach equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate high reach forklifts to pick, put away, and replenish inventory in racking systems
- Safely move materials throughout the warehouse while following all safety protocols
- Accurately scan and track inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Load and unload product as needed
- Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
Qualifications:
- Required: Previous high reach forklift operating experience
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Reliable attendance and strong commitment to safety
