Immediate Opening for a Warehouse Associate in the Miamisburg, Ohio area!

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Unloads received freight containers. Opens received cargo containers, inspects for part number, quantity and for visual defects.  Receives and/or Sorts materials and scans bar code utilizing handheld scanner.
• Stores, stocks and picks parts from assigned stock using forklift/power truck, single purpose pushcart or hand truck. Pulls cart with 25 pounds of force. Pushes cart with up to 35 pounds of force. Bending, twisting, reaching and fingering and handling necessary to pick, pack, sort and stock items. Constant standing, lifting, pushing/pulling and walking required.  Items may weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Sorts parts by destination and packs parts in the assigned box or container to prepare for shipping.  Identifies correct part on computer and picks parts from assigned stock. Places bar code onto item after packaging and uses handheld scanner to scan item.
• Ships out packaged cargo to assigned destination. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Uses equipment in loading of trucks with outgoing shipments. Scans items loaded into outgoing trucks.
• Delivers materials to various departments and locations following prescribed practice or instructions.
• Performs other duties as directed by warehouse management.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment required.
• Ability to operate forklifts, power trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and tracking.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning technology.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, and pushing/pulling carts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Schedule: 1st shift 8AM-4:30PM
Pay: $16/hr
