Responsibilities:
- Review and source a variety of electrical components, materials, and processes from the drawings/blueprints, bill of materials, or parts list.
- Analyze/Review quotes to ensure reasonable price, and that specifications are met.
- Interface with Engineering and Quality to review any required testing requirements.
- Use Excel spreadsheets to complete pricing and estimate delivery based on quotes received.
- Knowledge of Military components and processes a plus.
- Source potential new suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Purchasing experience of 1 year MINIMUM required.
- Electrical manufacturing experience and/or knowledge of electrical components and processes a plus.
- Experience reading and understanding drawings/blueprints required.
- Strong organizational skills, data entry skills, and basic computer skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent follow-up and communication skills.
