Key Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets all blueprints.
• Sets-up and operates a variety of woodworking machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate and repair pieces. Must be able to operate equipment such as saws, planes, drill presses, hand tools, etc. with little or no supervision according to all safety standards.
• Applies general knowledge concerning common HPL lamination application procedures and techniques.
• Applies basic construction methods for assembling common panels and framing.
• Operates in a safe and knowledgeable manner all types of air tools, staple guns, and spray equipment.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• One-year certificate from college or technical school
• 5+ years related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of Windows7 or greater, and familiarity with Microsoft Office 2010 including Word, Excel, & Outlook.
• Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal.
• Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Forklift driving a requirement (ECI certification).

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. A forklift will be used to move anything over 75 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts/ Friday, 8-hour shift. 

Pay range:  $20-22/hour depending on experience.
