Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Specialist for a temporary, 60-day assignment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounts receivable or collections and be confident in managing customer communications, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
  • Contact clients via phone, email, or written correspondence to follow up on past-due accounts
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, and disputed invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date collection notes and account records
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing or service issues affecting payments
  • Prepare and summarize aging reports and provide updates to management on collection status and progress
  • Recommend accounts for escalation or further action as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related financial roles
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Experience working in a small to mid-sized business environment preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
