Position Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for supporting production operations by ensuring that all products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves monitoring the production floor, conducting inspections and audits, documenting results accurately, and communicating quality concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate production and assembly components to verify compliance with quality requirements.
  • Identify, quarantine, and document non-conforming materials to prevent defective product shipment.
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections according to control plan requirements.
  • Complete dock audits, outgoing inspections, and first-piece approvals.
  • Maintain traceability records and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks and maintain inspection databases.
  • Communicate effectively with production, quality, and management teams to resolve issues.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer specifications.
  • Handle gauges and testing equipment with care; maintain calibration and proper use.
  • Report scrap issues or deviations to the appropriate personnel for review.
  • Support production startups and quality containment activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior quality inspection or manufacturing experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience with SPC or other quality tools is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to read blueprints, metrology reports, and understand quality specifications.
  • Proficient with computers and Windows-based systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and reasoning ability.
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs occasionally.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.).
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10PM-8AM
Pay: $16 plus 0.50 cent shift differential
