Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials, products, and equipment throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and accurately.
- Transport raw materials to production areas and finished goods to designated storage locations.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Ensure materials are stored and stacked according to company guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including warehouse and staging areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with production, shipping, and receiving teams to meet operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory systems and RF scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands.
Pay: $17.50/hr
