Quality Technician II – NDT Radiographer & Layout Inspector

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic inspections of castings according to internal procedures and customer specifications.
  • Interpret radiographs to determine casting acceptability; document and communicate findings.
  • Identify and mark defects on castings based on film analysis.
  • Develop and adjust radiographic techniques for new parts or modified work to meet quality standards.
  • Process and develop radiographic film for evaluation.
  • Set up castings for radiography, ensuring correct placement of identifiers, location markers, and penetrometers.
  • Operate overhead cranes and casting carts to load and unload components into the shooting cell.
  • Conduct tensile testing and assist in material analysis.
  • Perform periodic checks using the spectrograph to support quality verification.

Qualifications:
  • Must meet the minimum requirements for NDT Level II RT in accordance with SNT-TC-1A.
  • Possession of a State or IRRSP Radiographer Card is required.
  • Completion of a 40-hour Radiation Safety Training Course is required.
  • Prior experience with industrial radiography and quality inspection required.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
Pay: $21.60 - $30.19 per hour
Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday
