Responsibilities
· Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
· Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on boilers and associated equipment.
· Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
· Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
· Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
· Collaborate with field service teams to address customer service needs related to boiler operations.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent is required.
· Boiler operation certificate is required.
· Prior experience in utility maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, or a related area is advantageous.
· Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in utility maintenance.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
