Responsibilities:
- Must be able to set-up, adjust, and safely operate heavy machining equipment including but not limited to, metalworking lathes, drilling
- machines, presses, grinders, and cutting tools.
- Must be able to read and follow basic written instructions, engineering drawings/specifications, and bills of operations/materials to ensure adherence to quality standards for finished products.
- Ensure compliance with written and verbal quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment for all employees.
- Assemble and package goods for shipment.
- Able to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Report on defective products or machinery in a timely manner.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies in products or raw materials.
- High School Diploma or GED – Some Technical/Vocational School Training Preferred
- Must have previous manufacturing, assembly, and basic machining experience in a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
- Experience in basic wiring assembly required.
- Good understanding of common machines/tools used in manufacturing, including their basic design, uses, and simple repairs/maintenance.
- Proficient in reading/interpreting mechanical documents and drawings.
- Competent using precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with CNC machining and operation highly desirable.
- Forklift Certification a plus
Pay: $20/hr
