Inventory Control Specialist

Immediate Opening for an Inventory Control Specialist role in Vandalia, Ohio

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage inventory transactions within the M2M ERP system.

  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in inventory records.

  • Collaborate with purchasing, production, and shipping departments to maintain proper inventory levels.

  • Identify and investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions.

  • Generate inventory reports and analyze trends to forecast inventory needs.

  • Maintain compliance with internal procedures and industry best practices.

  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of inventory control processes.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control.

  • Direct experience using M2M (Made2Manage) ERP software is required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in manufacturing environments.

  • Knowledge of lean inventory practices or Six Sigma principles.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM
Pay: $18-20/hr
