Responsibilities: 
  • Receives product and verifies box counts, packing slip counts and inspects product for freight or any visible damage; documents receipt and any damage on bills of lading, packing slips; follows company procedures for freight claim documentation and process
  • Identifies product received and pulls work/purchase order paperwork as appropriate; matches product received to purchase orders; files purchase orders so they can be pulled as needed
  • Communicates product receipt to sales, sales support, project management and dispatch on a daily basis; stages and stores product in warehouse, noting location on receiving paperwork; provides tags to all stored product for easy identification
  • Handles all product in professional manner, minimizing damage or potential damage by others
  • Pulls product and assists loading for all shipments out of warehouse, ensuring that product is protected and vehicles are properly packed
  • Maintains warehouse in clean, neat and highly organized manner, including all stored product, supplies, equipment, parts, vehicles, etc.; ensures building security procedures are adhered to all the time
  • Ensures that all product that is palletized is neatly stacked and shrink wrapped for securing and protecting the product/boxes on the pallets; that all box labels are out and visible
  • Places product in racks or on floor neatly, safely and organized (like product together; worksurface cantilevers near worksurfaces; etc.); ensures product is stored so pieces don't damage each other, so product can be removed easily and so that box labels are visible from the aisles
  • Ensures return goods are fully documented, and stored in appropriate warehouse locations
  • Prepares product to be returned to manufacturers by ensuring that Return Authorization is complete, furniture is packaged to prevent damage and per manufacturer's instructions, Bill of Lading is filled out correctly, packing slip has been done if multiple products shipping, carrier has been called for pick up and copies of all documentation are filed away
  • Documents daily and accurately, in or for the inventory database, all customer inventory in-and-out transactions; tracks any internal movement of customer product, updates inventory database as appropriate
  • Interfaces with the field crews to ensure correct product is pulled and loaded for delivery to site
  • Interfaces with the field crews to ensure that product returns are fully documented and communicated to the appropriate dealership personnel
  • Facilities liaison – Cleanliness, organization for office and warehouse, room setup before and after group use
  • Upkeep of facility lighting, plumbing, and other facility maintenance and preventive maintenance issues
Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or warehouse management preferred.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM
Pay: $18-23/hr
