Immediate opening for a Linux SQL DBA and Systems Administrator in the Dayton, OH area!
Candidate is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server systems.
Responsible for ensuring the availability and consistent performance of the database applications.
Manage all aspects of Linux SQL server databases
Configure and maintain database servers and processes
Monitor system's health and performance
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
Assist with general system administrator responsibilities
Performs other work related duties as assigned.
Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field is a PLUS.
Extensive knowledge of Linux SQL Database
Experience with WordPress & WooCommerce
Three (3) years of experience in information systems or related field OR a combination of experience, education, and training that would indicate the level of skills, knowledge, and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Office productivity software, SQL databases and maintenance management software.
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of network and desktop administration, installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
Understands importance of adhering to security standards.
Self-Starter, able to work independently, multi-task, complete tasks on time and produce quality, detail-oriented work.
