Part Time Administrative Assistant

Immediate opening for a temporary (6 month) part time Administrative Assistant in the Dayton, OH area!
Part time schedule will be 10AM to 2PM, Monday - Friday
This person will assist the consumer lending department with scanning, checking loan packages, filing, mailing and other related duties. There may eventually be some work performed in ensuring mortgage satisfactions are prepared and recorded in a timely manner for paid in full equity loans.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Scan loan documents.
  • File and rotate loan packages in the file room
  • Notes “Documents Received” in the loan origination system for new loans received.
  • Check loan packages to be sure all documents are present (working off a checklist).
  • Verify recorded home equity mortgages received against monthly report. Scan the recorded mortgages to the respective loan packages and close out the packages in the system.
  • Prepare or request the designated Title Company prepare satisfactions of mortgage on paid off home equity loans and send to the recorder’s office for documented release.
  • Review on a monthly basis the billing notice from the Attorneys office comparing the bill to closed equity loans and requested and received satisfactions.
  • Scan documents as needed.
  • Mail notices of all types.
  • Open incoming mail and forward to the appropriate department employees.
  • Open insurance policies received in the mail, sort, distribute and mail to the Insurance Center the policies not being forwarded internally.
  • Operate office machines such as optical scanner, typewriter, calculator, postage and copy machines.
  • Perform other such duties as might be assigned from time to time by the Consumer Loan Manager
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of administrative assistant experience
  • Previous Bank/Mortgage Industry experience a plus!
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Solid scanning & data entry skills
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
