Temporary-to-hire opportunity for a Credit Assistant in the Dayton, OH area.
                               Full time position Monday- Friday 8am-5pm 

 

The primary function of a Credit Assistant is to research and verify all credit documentation provided by the sales team, and to establish all new potential customer and job accounts.  At times, the Credit Assistant may be asked to help guide the customers and sales staff through the company credit application process in addition to other items.  The Credit Assistant’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:


Key responsibilities:
  • Direct support to the sales team and collectors
  • Maintenance of customer accounts
  • Verifying tax exemption certificates are complete and valid
  • Ensuring all required documentation is verified and filed
  • Preparing and mailing customer acceptance letters
  • Responding to general credit inquiries
  • Creating and managing reports
  • Processing customer credit card payments
 
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Good analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a multi-task environment
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Mail Merge)
 

Pay Rate:  $13 DOE
