Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused High Reach Operator to join our client's warehouse team. This is a hands-on warehouse position responsible for picking, locating, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility. The successful candidate will operate high-reach and sit-down forklifts, use RF scanners to accurately track inventory, and assist with shipping, receiving, and general material-handling activities.
This position requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, paying close attention to inventory accuracy, and safely operating equipment around racking systems.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:30PM-11PM
Pay: $20-22/hr w/ 0.50 shift diff

Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-reach and sit-down forklifts to safely move, locate, pick, stage, load, unload, and replenish materials.
- Pick and locate materials according to work orders, pick lists, and production requirements.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory and material movement.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and lot numbers for accuracy.
- Stack, wrap, secure, and organize materials properly.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including inspecting incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and other warehouse documentation accurately.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Safely move materials throughout the warehouse, including working in elevated racking systems.
- Perform daily forklift and equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and proper forklift operating practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
- Required: Previous high-reach forklift operating experience.
- Required: Previous sit-down forklift experience.
- Required: Ability to safely operate forklifts in a warehouse/racking environment.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Previous warehouse, picking, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and verify part numbers, quantities, and other inventory information.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work safely at elevated heights and around warehouse racking.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong commitment to workplace safety.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
