Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aluminum TIG Welder with experience in repair welding (not fabrication). This role focuses on restoring and repairing aluminum castings by identifying and correcting defects to meet quality standards.

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aluminum TIG Welder with experience in repair welding (not fabrication). This role focuses on restoring and repairing aluminum castings by identifying and correcting defects to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum components, primarily focused on repair work
- Repair defects in aluminum castings to meet quality and structural requirements
- Interpret work instructions, blueprints, and repair specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with quality and production teams as needed
- Prior experience with aluminum TIG welding (required)
- Experience performing repair welds (strongly preferred; fabrication experience alone is not sufficient)
- Ability to pass a hands-on weld test
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Ability to analyze X-ray images and identify internal defects in castings that are not visible externally
- Strong understanding of casting defects and repair techniques
Shift: 1st Shift (Day Shift)
Pay Range:
- $19.90 – $25.78/hour (based on weld test performance)
- $21.18 – $28.50/hour (for candidates who pass weld test and demonstrate X-ray defect identification skills)
