Exciting Contract Opportunity for a Human Resource (HR) Business Partner with a client of ours in the Dayton, OH area!
We are seeking an experienced HR professional who has drafted & implemented policies/procedures for a start-up facility! This person will serve as the HR expert for all Leaders and will provide a full line of HR Consulting services on-site throughout the start up phase.
HR Business Partner Responsibilities
- Consults with Management, providing HR guidance
- Serves as a coach and mentor
- Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions and programs for their team
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as required.
- Implement ATS, ensure data in applicant tracking system is correct, timecards are approved in a timely and correct manner by the supervisory group.
- Additional duties as assigned
HR Business Partner Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience required
- Experience with a start-up facility is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of Federal and Ohio employment laws including ADA and FMLA
- Strong working knowledge of MS office programs
- Experience working with HRIS/ATS programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail-oriented and able to complete administrative functions with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
