HR Business Partner - Contract Role

Exciting Contract Opportunity for a Human Resource (HR) Business Partner with a client of ours in the Dayton, OH area! 

We are seeking an experienced HR professional who has drafted & implemented policies/procedures for a start-up facility! This person will serve as the HR expert for all Leaders and will provide a full line of HR Consulting services on-site throughout the start up phase.

 

HR Business Partner Responsibilities

  • Consults with Management, providing HR guidance 
  • Serves as a coach and mentor 
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions and programs for their team
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as required.
  • Implement ATS, ensure data in applicant tracking system is correct, timecards are approved in a timely and correct manner by the supervisory group.
  • Additional duties as assigned

HR Business Partner Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience required
  • Experience with a start-up facility is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and Ohio employment laws including ADA and FMLA
  • Strong working knowledge of MS office programs
  • Experience working with HRIS/ATS programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to complete administrative functions with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
