Immediate Opening for a Machine Operator role in Dayton, Ohio!

PAY: $14/hour
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM (1st shift)
Machine Operating Responsibilities:
- Set up and operation of machines
- Operating the machine safely and competently in accordance with manufacturers’ operating instructions and ensuring good safety and housekeeping
- Ensure all components produced meet specifications using appropriate measuring equipment’s such as (Micrometers, Vernier, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges and etc)
- Must be able to select suitable tools and inserts and cutters
- Candidates will be required to work within very close tolerances and be able to work in a production setting to meet on going production quotas
- Read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions or standard charts to determine specification procedures
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to contribute to continuous improvement techniques to improve output, quality, cost, and delivery
Machine Operating Qualifications:
- 1+ years of machinist experience operating
- Basic shop math skills
- Computer skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Good mechanical ability and manual dexterity essential
- Strong work ethic and be able to follow proper safety procedures and guidelines
- Ability to read & understand drawing and handle measuring instruments
- Excellent attention to detail
