Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor automated quality inspection systems, ensuring proper functionality and calibration.
- Analyze data from inspection equipment to identify defects or non-conformance with specifications.
- Perform visual and manual inspections of boards and components to confirm adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
- Data Collection and Reporting
- Record inspection results, identifying trends and recurring issues.
- Provide feedback to production teams to address quality concerns in real-time.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance
- Identify and resolve issues with automated inspection systems in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on inspection tools and equipment.
- Assist in identifying root causes of quality defects and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and suggest enhancements to automation tools.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support efficient and safe operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance role, preferably with automation systems.
- Proficiency in operating automated inspection systems and related software.
- Familiarity with quality measurement tools and techniques.
- Basic understanding of electronics, boards, and components is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minute defects.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings and working with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools.
Pay: $14/hr
