Order Picker/Forklift Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret work orders to identify parts and quantities needed for production.
  • Locate parts in the warehouse based on storage location and specifications provided.
  • Safely operate a forklift to retrieve oversized or heavy parts, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Accurately label parts with appropriate identification tags or stickers.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff and production teams to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse shelves and work areas.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is required.
  • Must have experience with computer skills for processing shipments and managing inventory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment required.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow detailed instructions.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with good communication skills.

Pay: $18/hr 
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
