Immediate opening for a Finance Manager in the Sidney, OH area!

Objective: 
In this role, you will be responsible for a multitude of finance and accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end close, tax preparation, and support for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities. The ideal candidate enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and wants to be a key contributor.

Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee daily accounting operations. 

  • Drive month-end close processes including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement compilation. 

  • Be responsible for banking relations and cash management activities. 

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of professional accounting staff with varied experience levels. 

  • Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 

  • Implement best practices and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures. 

  • Present financial information to executive management, providing insights and recommendations. 

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. 

  • Coordinate and facilitate external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation. 

  • Work with external tax preparer and be responsible for reviewing and completing various statutory returns. 

  • Be familiar with consolidation and tax reporting. 

  • Perform financial modeling and projections.  

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 

  • Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting is required. 

  • Experience with green field construction and project accounting is preferred. 

  • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing. 

  • Experience with intercompany accounting across a multitude of legal entities including multi-currency, and international transactions. 

  • Experience supervising accounting staff. 

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, journal entries, and fixed assets management. 

  • 5-7 years related working experience. 

    Preferred Qualifications: 

  • CPA
  • Mandarin speaking a plus.
