Excellent Direct Hire opportunity for a Human Resource Assistant in the Germantown, OH area.
Answer main phone line for company, direct calls and answer questions
Processing and data entry of HR transactions such as new hire/transfer/termination paperwork, time reporting, employee changes, leaves of absence, attendance, status changes, etc.
Local contact for HR queries regarding benefits, policies, processes, etc. Accountable for timely escalation to Generalist. Provide funnel for HR communications to and from the business as required.
Provide other HR administrative duties such as arrange local meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, local events, special HR projects, engagement survey.
Assisting with recruiting process including posting, screening, interviews set up, communication with hiring manager and candidate, preparing offer letter, setting up all required pre-employment testing.
Process report requests and track data as required
Bachelor’s Degree or working towards Bachelor’s Degree
Previous experience in Human Resources
High attention to detail
Multi-tasking is very important in this job as the person may be working on a project then gets interrupted by the phones.
Intermediate level skills in MS Office packages and be able to pick up new software packages quickly
